Every divorce starts off a love story.... and here is this one. "When Jesus Divorced Me" follows the journey of two actors who meet one Summer in Ohio, and whose relationship quickly blossoms into a deep and profound friendship. What begins as a simple summer stock contract evolves into a passionate bond as they support each other in their shared artistic pursuits. Eventually, they get married. However, their relationship takes a dramatic turn when one of them is cast in a role that leads to unexpected consequences, ultimately unraveling the fabric of their marriage.
