The Show

An American burlesque and variety show celebrating the mystical and magical realm of Icelandic folklore. Featuring songs, dance, and strip tease by three New York City based artists. This is a celebration of the untameable forces of nature which stand in defiance of industry and exploitation. Bitsy Brûlée, Persé Fanny and Rosie Tulips have mixed the realms of storytelling and striptease to create a unique performance for audiences. Join them as they take you on a spellbinding journey exploring everything fantastically fae.
The show is loosely themed around the conflict between humans and nature. We've taken inspiration from both Icelandic folklore and stories from pop culture such as Princess Mononoke and Fern Gullie. The first half of the show celebrates nature, elves, and spirits seductively at play, while the second half shows how destructively these forces can mix with mankind and industry. We'll have both classic and neoburlesque acts, mixed with bits of ballet, song, and poetry.

The artist

Persé Fanny

Radiating New Orleans charm and New York City energy, Persé Fanny is a burlesque gem, mastering the arts of classic, neo, and whimsically nerdy performances. Since her electrifying debut as Luigi in 'Boobs and Goombas' in 2012, she has been transforming stages into realms of elegance and playful eccentricity. She can be seen performing all over New York City as well as on screen including The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Persé Fanny was the artistic director for NOLA Nerdlesque Festival from 2015 - 2020.

She's also showcased at Vermont Burlesque Festival, Montreal Burlesque Festival, RVA Burlesque Festival and NOLA Nerdlesque Festival. She's known as the “Hottest Lady from here to Hades.”

Rosie Tulips

Rosie Tulips is a NYC native and former Soloist with the Pennsylvania Ballet. She toured North America in The Phantom of the Opera and can be seen in Darren Aronofsky’s film, Black Swan. This “Feisty Flower” has been a Burlesque Artist since 2019 performing regularly throughout New York City. Festivals include, Show Me Burlesque St Louis, New York Burlesque Fest, Teaser Fest New Orleans & Hollywood. Rosie will be competing in this year’s Miss Coney Island Pageant. She’s the so so sweet and a little bit thorny, Rosie Tulips!

Elizabeth (Bitsy) Bays:

is a New York based actor/burlesque artist/filmmaker .

, She has performed with Labryinth Theatre Company, Actor’s Theatre NYC, Antimatter Theatre Company, and more. Elizabeth won the “best new filmmaker” award in 2021 for her short film “Surprise” at the Scared for your LIIFE Film Festival.

She has performed at Arlene's Grocery, the Box, Capital City Burlesque Festival, Salem Burlesque Festival, Nurse Bettie, Drom, and other various venues around NYC and Brooklyn. Bitsy recently finished a residency at Penny Jo’s in Harlem where she produced a monthly burlesque show. Bitsy’s tagline is “a whirlwind of whimsy!”
