Currently, the Viva team is working on adapting Jennifer Haley's play, "Breadcrumbs."
Written in 2015, this play explores the relationship between two women: an aging writer recently diagnosed with dementia (Alida) and a frivolous young woman seeking refuge (Beth).
Alida navigates between past and present, her memories intertwining with stories to form the narrative of her life. But her dementia makes interactions difficult.
Virginia Wall Gruenert will play Alida, and Erika Cuenca will play Beth. The two actresses, directed by Ingrid Sonnichsen, will perform at the Carnegie Stage this April.
